The Indiana Dramatic Arts and Communications Festival and Competition is an opportunity for young children, youth and adults to share their passion for poetry, drama and communication in a nurturing environment.
The festival features fun activities for parents, siblings and friends. Local organizations that support the arts are invited to share information about poetry, acting and more.
The competition gives participants the opportunity to perform in front of judges.
Participants receive written and oral critique designed to provide encouragement and direction to help improve performance and confidence.
The competition is open to students of all grade levels (4 years old by June 1 of the competition year) and adults.
Contestants select a piece from the following categories out of the Catalog of Choices to present at competition.

Entry fees range from $7-$35. Entry fees are non-refundable.
The inaugural INDACS Festival and Competition was hosted by WFYI Public Broadcasting in 2009. Planning for the annual competition begins early in the calendar year.
