Rosey's Round-up
| Watch This Segment Online. | | Description: | Our
first story comes from Throntown.
It’s the tale of “Rosey’s Round-up.” Twice a year,
former Lebanon coach Jim
Rosenstihl invited everyone who was anyone throughout 40 years of Indiana high school
basketball to lunch. And they all came, for Rosey, as he was called, was a
close friend to them all. Sad to say, Jim Rosenstihl passed away this last
Saturday. After talking to several of Rosie’s closest friends, they thought
that the best tribute we could give to Coach Rosenstihl is to air the story just
as we originally put it together. For the record, they tell us that the
tradition of “Rosey’s Roundup” will continue in the spirit in which Rosey
created it, a legacy of friendship that will live on. And for our small part,
our sympathies go out to the family and friends of Coach
“Rosey.” | | Credits: | Jim Simmons

Suburban Cowboys
| Watch This Segment Online. | | Description: | We’re
headed for a town not as famous for horses as it is for horsepower. It’s the drag-racing town of Clermont, and we’re taking a look
under the hood at a piece of the Old Wild West – the Clermont Rodeo -- where all you’ll
need to join in is a strong rope, a calloused behind, and a hearty “yee-haw!!!” | | Credits: | Twila Snyder | | Location: | Clermont | | Contact: | Clermont Lion's Club Park Park Manager (317) 291-3694 |
The Wonder Plant
| Watch This Segment Online. | | Description: | If we
told you there was a product that was (a) as good a source of Omega-3 fatty
acids as fish, (b) reduces cholesterol, (c) improves heart health, (d) helps
prevents cancer, (e) improves vision and (f) can combat depression, you’d put in
the call right now to the Attorney General to have us hauled off as
old-fashioned snake oil salesmen. But your call would be premature. For there
is such a product and there’s a new push to grow it on a grand scale in this
state. We’re headed to Knightstown to walk past hoppers of yellow
corn and pale soybeans in favor of another crop, the one-of-a-kind periwinkle
blue flowers of . . . flax. | | Credits: | Shannon Cagle | | Location: | Knightstown | | Contact: | Fields of Agape, LLC - fieldsofagape@yahoo.com |
Cannonball Espresso
| Watch This Segment Online. | | Description: | It’s
always good to try to see ourselves as others do, for it’s a time-tested truism
that you never really understand your fellow humans until you walk a mile in
their stilettos. Or, at least, that seems to be the case for our charming
“not-from-around-here” reporters, Sarah from Britain and Sybille from Germany, once
again making a comparison-contrast between the culture of the Heartland and the
culture of their Homelands. This time, they’re loose in Metamora, home of the only wooden aqueduct
still remaining in the United
States. The ladies are in search of the finest
cappuccino this side of the Atlantic, but to
earn a taste, they’ll have to learn how to drive a steam engine right out of the
1930s! All aboard . . . and be afraid; be
very afraid. | | Credits: | Sarah Mynett | | Contact: | Steve Collier "The Smelly Gourmet" Gift Shop shop@aogiftshop.com Toll free (877) 332-5787 |
