Types of Dreams
Although a majority of our dreams may simply deal with our unresolved daily issues, we may experience many other types of dreams — problem-solving dreams, healing dreams, warning dreams, archetypal dreams, pre-cognitive dreams, turning-point dreams and so on. Many experienced dreamworkers find dreams to be a natural self-healing or self-directing process which prompts and guides us, actually suggesting a direction we need to take in life. Whether in regard to relationships, career problems, or creative blocks dreams can offer perspective and guidance well beyond our immediate conflicts.
Most importantly, whether we look for the source of our nightly dreams in the workings of the brain or view them as a portal to greater wisdom, our dreams never fail to compel in us each night a wonder and amazement about the mystery of life and the nature of human consciousness.
