The Economics of Early Education Summit

The importance of early childhood education has taken center stage in Indianapolis throughout 2013. And it's at the top of United Way of Central Indiana's 2014 Public Policy Agenda. Please join us for an informative discussion with moderator Gerry Dick of Inside INdiana Business and keynote speaker Robert H. Dugger, PhD. United Way of Central Indiana is pleased to present this summit along with several partners, including WFYI.

Dr. Dugger is an expert on assessing the effect of government policy on domestic issues and will address how investing in early childhood education now will yield great returns in the future for Central Indiana.

There is no charge to attend this event, but pre-registration is required. A screening of the 30-minute documentary, "Are We Crazy About Our Kids?," will be included.

"This will be a timely opportunity for legislators, business executives, nonprofit leaders and other community members to hear from an economic and policy leader about the substantial returns associated with investments in quality early childhood education -- investments with benefits for generations," said Ann D. Murtlow, president and CEO of United Way of Central Indiana.
