In January, 1981, a series of short field reports began an examination of the issues and agendas before the state legislature. Thirty years later, Indiana's decision makers are still appearing on Indiana Lawmakers. Journalist Jon Schwantes will guide the discussion between Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, the governor, state senators, state house members, lobbyists and pundits in his 16th year as the show's host.

Jon Schwantes, a panelist on Indiana Public Television’s weekly, political round-table series Indiana Week in Review, will serve as studio host and moderator for Indiana Lawmakers. During each weekly installment of Indiana Lawmakers, Schwantes will expand on timely topics by moderating in-studio roundtable discussions while publisher Ed Feigenbaum will offer viewers an insider’s commentary.
Ed Feigenbaum manages INGroup, a Noblesville-based firm that offers various key information resources related to Indiana state politics and government. He earned both a degree in law and an M.B.A. from Indiana University, and has served as Director of Legal Affairs for the Council of State Governments, and as Director of Marketing and in-house counsel for the Hudson Institute. Since 1989, he has published Indiana Legislative Insight, a widely read and respected weekly insider's newsletter that explains what's happening and why in Indiana politics and government.
