Morning EditionMorning Edition on WFYI 90.1 FM draws public radio's largest audience with in-depth reports on the latest news and stories from around the world that will unfold as the day progresses. A cornerstone of WFYI Public Television's great children's lineup for more than 30 years, Sesame Street has garnered more than 100 awards, including multiple Emmys, two Peabodys, four Parents' Choice Awards and an Action for Children's Television SpecialSesame Street Achievement Award. A newer addition to our PBS KIDS schedule is the Emmy award-winning Between the Lions which is based on a comprehensive literacy curriculum that follows a "whole-part-whole" approach recommended by many reading experts. The curriculum emphasizes both the pleasures and the value of reading, as well as the skills needed for learning how to read. WFYI programming continues to stimulate and entertain from early childhood through adulthood.
