Bisard Jury Selection Nears Completion

Jury selection in the trial of suspended IMPD officer David Bisard could wrap up today in Fort Wayne.

On Monday lawyers in the trial agreed on 10 jurors, five men and five women. Twelve jurors and four alternates are needed.

Blood tests expected to be introduced as evidence showed Bisard had a blood-alcohol level more than twice Indiana's legal limit of 0.08 percent when his patrol car struck a group of motorcyclists stopped at a traffic light in August 2010.  Eric Wells was killed and two other people were seriously injured.
