Indiana Bicentennial Commission Preparing Collector's Book

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indiana Bicentennial Commission is planning a collector's book marking next year's 200th anniversary of statehood and is asking the public to share photographs for it.

The commission says the book titled "Indiana at 200: A Celebration of the Hoosier State" is to cover numerous topics including the state's communities, businesses, agriculture, schools, sports and entertainment.

Photographs can be submitted through the commission's website at www.indiana2016.org.

Pre-orders are also being accepted for the 240-page coffee table book, with three versions ranging in cost from $37.50 to $84.95.
