INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indiana State Museum is looking for photos of veterans and active military personnel for a special exhibition.

WRTV-TV reports the exhibition called "Heroes from the Heartland" and will open Nov. 1.

Hoosiers are invited to submit photos of themselves, friends and family members who have served or are currently serving in any branch of the military. The photos will be printed and posted on a photo mural at the museum.

Photos should be submitted by Oct. to special projects programmer Katelyn Coyne by email at kcoyne@indianamuseum.org.

The photos should include name, date of service, military division, hometown and nominator's name. They also should include special stories about the veterans, if possible.
