Ivy Tech, Hoosier Lottery Launch Online Course On Finances

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Hoosier Lottery and Ivy Tech Community College are launching an online class aimed at helping Indiana residents improve basic financial skills.

The open online course is initially being promoted to Hoosier Lottery winners and Ivy Tech students, but the course is free and available by visiting www.LearnFinancialLiteracy.com . Participants can learn various aspects of financial literacy and money management through four modules covering topics such as budgeting money, managing credit, paying off debt and planning for retirement.

Participants who successfully complete the course receive a printable certificate.
