INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Pacers' preseason schedule has a distinctly Indiana flavor to it — and a neutral court matchup against an old nemesis.
Indiana announced Tuesday it will open the preseason at home against Minnesota and former Purdue star Robbie Hummel on Oct. 7. The Pacers' other two home games will be Oct. 10 against Orlando and former Hoosiers star Victor Oladipo and Oct. 12 against Dallas, a team owned by Indiana grad Mark Cuban.
The most intriguing contest will be Oct. 15, when the Pacers play LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Cincinnati.
Indiana also will travel to Dallas on Oct. 12, Minnesota on Oct. 21 and Charlotte on Oct. 23. Cody Zeller and Noah Vonleh, who both played at Indiana, and former Pacers guard Lance Stephenson play for Charlotte.
