INDIANAPOLIS – Gov. Mike Pence says he’s filling out five Final Four brackets this year – one for each of the Indiana teams that made the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

Valparaiso, Butler, Indiana, Notre Dame and Purdue universities are scheduled to play their first games on Thursday or Friday.

But Pence wouldn’t say which one of those five teams he thinks has the best shot at winning the national championship, which will be played April 6 in Indianapolis.

“It’s going to be a team from Indiana,” he said. “Indiana has more teams in the big show than any other state in America. I couldn’t be more proud.”

Although the state has five teams in the tournament, they all play in the Midwest region that includes No. 1 seeded Kentucky, which is entering the tournament after an undefeated season.
