Spokeswoman Tory Flynn Leaves House Republican Staff

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana House Speaker Brian Bosma, R-Indianapolis, announced Monday that the Republican Communications Director Tory Flynn will be leaving her position for a new role in the private sector.

She’s been in the post since 2010.

Flynn serves as the chief spokesperson for the House Republicans and managed all aspects of media and communications for the 71 elected officials in the House Republican Caucus.

On June 30, Flynn will begin her new job as director of communications and public affairs at Hillenbrand Inc.

Hillenbrand is an industrial company that makes and sells business-to-business products is headquartered in Batesville.

“Since Tory first began in her role as communications director, she has been a vital part of our senior staff team,” Bosma said. “She has been someone that I could consistently rely on over the years and has brought a tremendous amount of expertise and creativity to our communications team.”

Bosma will announce his selection for the communications director position in the coming days.
