Treasure Hunt On July 12 Features Antique Market And Y'arrrd Sales

On July 12, the third annual Treasure Hunt features an antiques market at Indiana Landmarks' campus accompanied by y'arrrd sales throughout the Old Northside. The free event, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., also includes entertainment, food trucks, homemade ice cream and a scavenger hunt.

At Indiana Landmarks Center, 1201 Central Ave., and Morris-Butler House, 1204 N. Park Ave., more than 50 dealers in antiques, collectibles, and architectural salvage will set up booths on the parking lot and lawn.  Visitors to the free event will find music on the plaza and an art show in the gallery of the repurposed nineteenth-century church.

Treasure Hunt includes more than 30 y'arrrd sales throughout the Old Northside Historic District, including the Big, Big, Really Big Sidewalk Yard Sale at All Saints Episcopal Church at 16th Street and Central Avenue. A map showing y'arrrd sale locations throughout the neighborhood will be available at Indiana Landmarks Center.

In its own booth, Indiana Landmarks will sell donated antiques, with proceeds benefitting the nonprofit preservation organization's work throughout the state.  Indiana Landmarks is soliciting donations of antiques for sale in its booth.
