Joshua Bell Presents Musical Gifts
Bloomington native Joshua Bell was a toddler when his parents gave him his first violin, after noticing him plucking tunes on rubber bands stretched across dresser drawer handles. This early creative impulse launched him on a path that led through Indiana University’s School of Music….and now finds him enchanting audiences worldwide with breathtaking virtuosity, beautiful tone and charismatic stage presence.
Often called the "poet of the violin," Bell has recorded more than 40 CDs since his first recording at age 18. Just this past October, he released his first holiday CD, "Musical Gifts from Joshua Bell and Friends."
Celebrate the warmth, beauty and magic of the season with this casual view into Bell’s traditions and stunning musical collaborations.
