Patricia Poehler is retired from Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance where she worked for 35 years, starting as a part-time employee in the company's records division and ultimately advancing to Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. She then served for three years as Director of Outreach with Decatur Township Schools, her high school alma mater, before joining WFYI as Vice President of Organizational Relations in 2013.

Poehler served as a member of WFYI's Board of Directors during two stints over an eight year period, and chaired the community engagement committee from 2009 to 2013. She is active in the Central Indiana community, serving on the boards of the West Side Chamber of Commerce, Goodwin Community Center, Mooresville-Decatur Rotary Club, and as Executive Director of the Decatur Township Educational Foundation.

A graduate of the University of Indianapolis, Poehler resides in Brown County, Indiana, with her husband John. They have two grown children and five grandchildren.
