The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is working to increase the representation of women in police recruit classes to 30 percent by the year 2030.

Indiana is making changes to its Law Enforcement Training Board in an effort to improve training for police across the state.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office says access to training made available through recent state legislation is being denied without explanation.
