Parents and a principal are calling on Indianapolis Public Schools to change enrollment polices that lead to a disproportionate number of white students at the district’s most popular choice programs.

Indianapolis Public Schools Board will hold public interviews for the next superintendent on June 18.

More than 80 percent of IPS students qualify for free and reduced lunch. Anyone under the age of 18 is able to eat for free, regardless of whether they attend an IPS school.
