The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology's Oakley Observatory will open its doors to visitors to witness the planet Mercury crossing the face of the sun.

The AskRose Homework Help program staffed by students from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute provides math and science tutoring.

Jim Conwell is stepping down from his role as president of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The school's Board of Trustees accepted his resignation Wednesday.

The endowment announced Monday that the support will make tutors in math and science available each school year through the end of 2020.
