Indiana Holding Forums On Minority-, Women-Owned Vendors

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Several state agencies and state-supported universities will hold public forums across the state later this month as part of a study looking at the participation of minority- and women-owned businesses in Indiana contracts and procurements.

The forums will be held the evenings of Jan. 27-29 in Gary, Indianapolis and Evansville.

A study team includes the Indiana Department of Administration, the Indiana Department of Transportation, the Hoosier Lottery, and the Indianapolis Airport Authority. It also includes Ivy Tech Community College and six state-supported universities: Indiana, Purdue, Ball State, Indiana State, Southern Indiana and Vincennes.

Persons interested in attending are asked to register at: http://www.in.gov/idoa/mwbe/2749.htm#Events
