The Kokomo Performing Arts Pavilion has announced its 2015 summer concert series at Foster Park in downtown Kokomo.
The series will include classic rock, country, classic hits and pop. The lineup features Bret Michaels (lead singer of Poison), Mark Farner (former lead singer of Grand Funk Railroad), American Idol winner David Cook, and the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group The Lovin’ Spoonful and more.
The series will coincide with many of the local festivals, and all of the concerts are free to the public and considered family friendly. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic for each evening.
Summer concerts for the 2015 season include:
June 13: Kokomo Ribfest: The Lowrider Band (featuring 4 of the 5 original members of the multi-platinum selling band WAR)
June 27: The Kokomo Symphony Orchestra: An Evening with the Rat Pack Revisited
July 2: Haynes Apperson Festival: Pink Droyd w/ Laser Light Spectacular - w/ Uncle Boozie
July 3: Haynes Apperson Festival: Bret Michaels - w/ Roger’s Ritual
July 4: Haynes Apperson Festival: Here Come the Mummies - w/ Jason Skaggs Band
July 25: Indiana State Harley Owners Convention: Mark Farner Band (former lead singer of Grand Funk Railroad) - w/ The Pete Flores Band
Aug. 1: Rhumfest - David Cook - w/ the Rhum Academy All-Stars
Aug. 8: WeberFest - Mini KISS w/ special guest TBA
