Giving Today, Impacting Tomorrow: A Conversation on Strategic Giving and Legacy Planning
Are you interested in learning more about tax-smart giving strategies and the many ways you can support the future of WFYI?
Join WFYI and Karin Veatch on Tuesday, August 25, for Giving Today, Impacting Tomorrow: A Conversation on Strategic Giving and Legacy Planning. Whether you're considering a charitable gift or simply interested in learning more about the options available, this session will bring helpful insight to support your philanthropic goals with WFYI.
Karin is a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate at UBS and a member of WFYI's Board of Directors. As a former estate planning attorney with more than 24 years of experience, she has helped individuals and families create thoughtful plans that support both their loved ones and the causes they care about most. Karin brings a wealth of knowledge in charitable giving and estate planning, and she's passionate about helping donors make informed decisions and maximize their impact.
During the presentation, Karin will share information about a variety of strategic giving options, including gifts of stock, Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from an IRA, Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) and legacy gifts such as beneficiary designations and gifts through a will or trust. You'll learn how these giving strategies can support the causes you care about, maximize your impact and help secure WFYI's future for generations to come. We'll also leave plenty of time for questions.
To make participation as convenient as possible, we're offering two sessions:
- 12 p.m. session with lunch provided
- 5:30 p.m. session with light refreshments provided
Both sessions will be available in person at WFYI and via livestream for those who prefer to join remotely.
When registering, please indicate whether you'll attend in person or virtually.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Brock Eveland at beveland@wfyi.org or 317-614-0475.
