The Indianapolis Public Library is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Summer Reading Program.
WFYI’S Taylor Bennett spoke with IPL’s Teen Program Specialist Kirsten Weaver about the program's aim to stop what's called the summer slide and encourage life-long reading. Weaver starts with what's new this year.
