The Indianapolis Ten Point Coalition, a faith-based anti-crime group known for its safety walks, announced last month that its expansion to the city’s far east side was a success. But the message angered some in the community.

WFYI’s City Desk reporter Drew Daudelin recently spoke with Dee Ross, a local resident and independent candidate for City-County Council, to find out why.

Drew Daudelin is the managing digital editor at WFYI. In his previous roles as a reporter and producer he covered poverty, politics and city government, produced award-winning feature stories for local and national markets, and led the statewide daily talk show All IN.
