"Banner Up:" Indiana Women's Basketball Wins WNIT Title

Breaking records, presenting trophies, cutting down nets, shedding tears and shooting streamers. On the last day of March, Indiana’s WNIT championship game Saturday delivered all that and more.

Indiana (23-14) wins its first national postseason tournament ever 65 to 57 over Virginia Tech (23-14) in front of a record crowd of 13,007. It’s the sixth largest crowd in WNIT history and breaks Indiana’s all time women’s attendance record.

Family of Herman Whitfield III reaches settlement with Indianapolis, IMPD in wrongful death lawsuit

The family of Herman Whitfield III has reached a settlement with the city of Indianapolis and six IMPD officers concerning their son's death while in police custody four years ago.
