BMV is extending hours for Election Day

The Bureau of Motor Vehicles is extending its hours for Election Day.

Branches will be open Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

They are extending hours to be able to issue ID cards and driver’s licenses for Hoosiers that need them for identification at the polling places.

Hoosiers that have ID cards or driver’s licenses that expired after the last general election (Nov. 3, 2020) can use the expired card as proof of identification for voting purposes.

Branches will continue their regular hours starting Wednesday.
