Grand Park Hosting 2018 Big Ten Soccer Tournaments

Westfield will once again play host to the Big Ten Men’s and Women’s Soccer Tournaments.

Vicki Duncan Gardner, spokeswoman for the city, says the Grand Park Sports Campus will be site for this year's tournament.

"It’s an exciting opportunity for the city of Westfield, not only for us to have the exposure, not only to these Big Ten teams and fans, but to also give the central Indiana soccer players, soccer fans an opportunity to come and see this elite level of soccer played right here,” Duncan Gardner says.

This is the third consecutive year Westfield will host the men’s tournament and the second year for the women’s. 

“We are excited to again host the Men’s and Women’s Big Ten Soccer Tournament at Grand Park and the fans of whichever teams make it to this elite competition,” says Westfield Mayor Andy Cook. “We are equally as excited for the thousands of soccer fans across Central Indiana who will be able to attend and experience it.”

The tournament kicks off with the women’s semifinal games on Friday, Nov. 2 and final game on Sunday, Nov. 4. The men’s tournament will be the following weekend, with the semifinals on Friday, Nove. 9 and the final game on Sunday, Nov. 11. Game times for each tournament are still to be determined. The Big Ten Network will televise both the men’s and women’s semifinal and championship games.
