IMPD Officer Suspended For Comments Made After Fatal Shooting

An Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer heard making an insensitive comment after the fatal police shooting involving Dreasjon Reed lhas been suspended and reassigned. 

IMPD says the officer's name and reassignment details have not been released for safety reasons. 

The responding detective is heard commenting about the need for a closed casket on the Facebook Live video Reed was streaming when he was killed on May 6.
