Indiana Judge On List Of Potential Supreme Court Nominees

Former University of Notre Dame law professor Amy Coney Barrett is on President Donald Trump’s list of potential replacements for Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy.

At Notre Dame, Barrett taught and conducted research on federal courts, constitutional law, and statutory interpretation. Barret currently serves as a United States Circuit Judge for the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

She is one on a list of 25 potential nominees. That list was created by the Trump Administration during the campaign and released in November 2017 prior to the nomination of Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch.
