A new online portal aims to increase the transparency of Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department processes for the public. It's a new tool to file a complaint against an officer.

WFYI's Terri Dee spoke with Gina Beavens, executive director the Citizens Complaint Office and Citizens Police Complaint Board, about the portal's goals and how it works.
