The Marion County jail reached capacity and will no longer hold people for ICE beyond 48 hours
Sheriff Kerry Forestal said the jail reached capacity as a result of 175 people convicted of state crimes awaiting transfer to state prison facilities and could result in a budgetary shortfall of around $2.7 million for the office.
