White River State Park Announces Urban Farmers Market

White River State Park Announces Urban Farmers Market

For the first time, White River State Park will host a biweekly farmers market in its Celebration Plaza during the months of May and June.

Maggie Ranallo, Deputy Director of White River State Park, said the market is an opportunity to support local vendors and farmers who were hard hit by the pandemic.

“We really wanted to say, hey -- let’s create an opportunity for local business, let’s create an opportunity for local farmers,” Mays-Medley said. “So we are thrilled to bring the market to White River State Park.”

The market will be open May 2, May 16, June 6 and June 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

More than 40 vendors will offer farm produce, meats, prepared foods and drinks, flowers, plants, and handcrafted artisan goods.
