It was standing-room only at the forum in Westfield, where Democrat Dee Thornton and incumbent Republican Susan Brooks answered questions from voters.

Susan Brooks, the incumbent Republican candidate for the Fifth Congressional District, will face Carmel businesswoman and Democrat Dee Thornton in the election next month.

District 5 takes in portions of central Indiana, including Grant, Madison, Tipton and Hamilton counties and part of Blackford, Marion, Boone and Howard counties.
