The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles will not have to provide a nonbinary gender marker on state IDs and drivers licenses under an Indiana Court of Appeals ruling.

The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles announced that branches will have new hours starting on Oct. 2.

Indiana passed its own infrastructure bill in 2017. By raising gas taxes and BMV fees, the state established a 20-year, fully-funded road construction plan.

Hoosiers will once again be able to get a personalized license plate from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, beginning Friday.

The legislation simplifies the fee structure, eliminating 163 different registration fees.
