The Indiana Libertarian Party chose its 2024 nominees for governor, lieutenant governor and U.S. Senate this weekend and the ticket includes some familiar names.

Libertarian Donald Rainwater announced recently he will make another bid for governor in 2024 after a record-setting run three years ago.

The events, organized by the state Democratic Party, invite Hoosiers to ask questions of the candidates ahead of this fall’s elections.

The legislation would have required Libertarian candidates for Senate and governor to get 4,500 voter signatures to make it on the ballot the same as Democratic and Republican candidates.

Libertarian Jo Jorgensen delivered her speech to a crowd of hundreds in Westfield, just north of Indianapolis. She laid out her platform, one that often diverges from both the major party candidates.
