Four Republican candidates running for Indianapolis mayor gathered for a forum Thursday night at the Indy Star.

John Keeler's guilty plea came just one hour before his trial was scheduled to begin in U.S. District Court in Indianapolis.

In a statement Merritt says the party needs a leader who can be "laser focused" on winning back the City-County Council and the Mayor's Office.
