Less than four months after giving Indiana University president Pamela Whitten a $200,000 raise, the university's board of trustees on Thursday approved a $225,000 bonus for her.

Pleas and criticism grow as Gov. Mike Braun has full control over the Indiana University Board of Trustees, but one voice has been silent. 

The Indiana University Board of Trustees unexpectedly renewed President Pamela Whitten’s contract through 2031 and increased her base salary from $702,000 to $900,000.
