Back to: All IN
Medicaid
November 07, 2019
The number of children without health insurance in the US grew by 10 percent between 2016 and 2018, according to a new report, and Indiana ranks near the bottom of the list. Today on All IN we talk about why these rates are rising, and what might be done to correct the trend.
We also talk about the temporary suspension of Indiana’s work requirement program for Medicaid recipients, which happened after a federal lawsuit challenged some of its rules. What does it mean for the 72,000 Hoosiers that are supposed to report to the Gateway to Work program? We talk with policy and legal experts to find out.
