Talent Shortage
November 05, 2019
The Indiana Chamber of Commerce estimates that about 49% of Indiana employers have left jobs unfilled due to a lack of qualified applicants. Shortages in the workforce stifle economic growth across the state. Efforts to build the so-called talent pipelines have been underway for years, but even after we develop talent, how do we retain it?
We talk with economic experts and policy makers about strategies to address the talent shortage, and who is in a position to help curb these trends.
