The Friday Pitch-In
January 31, 2020
This week’s Friday Pitch-In kicks off with an update on Indiana’s 2020 legislative session. The hands-free driving bill is one step closer to passing, and we have an update on the fine you might get if you're caught holding your phone while driving.
We also talk to Bob Vollmer, the Department of Natural Resources surveyor retiring at age 102. We ask him about his favorite state parks, and he tells us a story about the time he made a deal with a gangster.
And we talk about Ball State’s involvement in the Brain Gain initiative, designed to help encourage Indiana graduates who have moved away to come back and work in the state.
Produced by Matt Pelsor.
