Voter Suppression and Voter Outreach
October 29, 2020
Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, voter turnout this election is a lot harder to predict. But for some demographic groups, the pandemic is not the only factor that might deter them from going to the polls.
Today we talk to leaders from local organizations, each focused on different populations, to find out what they’re doing to encourage people to vote. We discuss the challenges they’ve faced doing outreach during the pandemic, and learn what specific issues are on the minds of the voters they’re trying to reach.
