President Donald Trump addressed thousands at an Indianapolis high school Friday in a bid to energize voters days before the mid-term elections.
The event featured Vice President Mike Pence, Republican congressional candidates, and former Indiana University basketball coach Bobby Knight.
Trump spoke for nearly an hour. His speech ranged from touting his administration’s efforts to reminiscing about his 2016 victory.
He also delivered a call to action for this year’s election.
“I need you to get your family, get your friends, get your neighbors, get your coworkers, and go out and vote Republican,” Trump says.
Trump also promoted Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mike Braun, who he called a “very successful guy.”
Braun says he was inspired to run by Trump.
“Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be on a stage with the President of the United States, the VP and Bobby Knight,” Braun says.
Trump will return to Indiana Monday, for a rally in Fort Wayne.
