Eli Lilly & Company leads Indianapolis businesses on Mayor Ballard's anti-crime plan commitment to funding early childhood education opportunities for low-income, at-risk preschoolers. The Indianapolis business community, led by the $2-million contribution from Lilly will raise $10-million in funding. The City-County Council vote on the plan has a hard deadline of approval on Sept 22, 2014.
