In April 1968, an Air Force Reserve Unit from Columbus, Indiana was activated for an air support mission in Vietnam. They were tasked with pinpointing enemy troops and delivering a lethal barrage of fire under the cover of darkness. Their gunship, the AC-119G was nicknamed "Shadow."
