"Last Days of Solitary" - Preview

Season 2017 Episode 8 | 31s

As more than 30 states experiment with reducing the use of solitary confinement, FRONTLINE presents American television’s most comprehensive exploration of the controversial practice. Filmed over three years with unprecedented access to the solitary unit at Maine State Prison, "Last Days of Solitary" examines the state's ambitious reform effort, and what happens when prisoners re-enter society.
