When The World Answered

Filmed on location in Florence, this film tells about the loss of 14,000 works of art, and the creativity and generosity of a little-known group of 20th century artists who donated art to replace that which was lost. Through an engaging story about the Herculean efforts to save and restore the artwork of Florence, we explore how the world responded to this tragedy, and how it still responds today.
