A man has been shot following a pursuit with Beech Grove police officers.

An Indiana man faces criminal charges after a young boy was allegedly seen holding a handgun outside their apartment and pulling the trigger without firing any bullets.

Beech Grove Police say the Sunday night shooter fled Don Challis Park after firing dozens of rounds, and the suspect is still at large. Police are looking for a newer-model white Toyota Camry, possibly with a window shot out.

Beech Grove officials broke ground recently at the site of a new police station.

The Beech Grove Police Department says the constrictor is missing from a home in the community on the southeast side of Indianapolis.
