Child Care Development Fund

A bill banning the use of student IDs at polling places advances to the House floor. A measure setting aside some child care vouchers for foster families heads to the governor’s desk. And Gov. Mike Braun signs his first bill into law.

Indiana is reimplementing a waitlist for two of its child care voucher programs: the Child Care Development Fund and On My Way Pre-K. This is the first time since 2018 new voucher applicants will be waitlisted.
