Buckle up, parents. Indiana teens will soon be able to earn their driver's licenses sooner

Indiana teens will be able to earn their driver’s licenses when they turn 16 instead of having to wait 90 more days, starting July 1.

Boarding flights, entering government buildings more difficult without Real ID as deadline hits

It may become more difficult to board commercial flights or enter some federal buildings beginning Wednesday without what's called a Real ID.

The lawsuit was filed in August against the Commissioner of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. The plaintiffs are represented by attorneys with the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana and the National Immigration Law Center.

A federal judge has issued a preliminary injunction against an Indiana law that allows people in the state on humanitarian parole to obtain a driver’s license but only if they're from Ukraine.
