Economic Enhancement District

The district allows a fee to be charged to certain property owners in a certain area to support public safety, homelessness and beautification efforts.

Indianapolis’ planned economic enhancement district, or EED, will not be repealed. A bill put the funding tool at risk but an amendment saves the district - with some caveats.
